DWI Intervention Class Policies:

Students must call to schedule a registration appointment. The registration process takes approximately 45 minutes. Applications must bring a copy of their Conditions of Probation (if appropriate) or their Attorney's name, fax number, and cause number.

Students must remain abstinent from the use of alcohol and other mind-altering substances during the entire course. Failure to comply with this reguirement may result in discharge from the program.

Two(2) absences are allowed; however, the absence MUST be made up prior to the next session. Make-up classes cost extra and payment is due at the time of the make-up class.

Beverages and snacks are permitted during class sessions. No smoking or use of any tobacco products is permitted in the building.

All cell phones and electronic devices must be turned off during class.

Participation in classroom discussion is expected, as well as completion of homework assignments.

A discharge action plan must be developed and completed in accordance with the curriculm.

Course Fee(32-hours): $275
Notifications

All successful graduates will be given an official State of Texas Certificate of Completion.

A copy of the certificate will be sent to DPS, if required, within 10 business days.

A copy of the certificate, as well ass the discharge action plan will be faxed to either the probation officer or the attorney of record.
